Arbor Green is a masterplanned subdivision in Rolleston, Canterbury.

It has been designed with huge amounts of care and local experience by the same developers who created Faringdon, right next door.

Arbor Green’s mix of community amenities, parks and homes will be connected by safe streets and pathways. Home to a diversity of residents, life here is as relaxed or exciting as you want it to be.

In 2026, we’re thrilled to bring you a brand new 5.25km course that starts and finishes in Foster Park and winds through the stunning Arbor Green development in Rolleston, delivering what could be our fastest and most scenic route yet. 

There are 1km, 5.25km, 10.5km and Half Marathon categories as well as a corporate challenge and team relay option.

Individuals will form a massive part of the Stampede in both the walking and running categories - there is also a team catergory for families!

Training Challenge

Enter the Selwyn Stampede before 31 October and gain free access to the collective Road Runner groups from 1 November to 30 November 2025.

Course Overview

Starting on Goulds Road adjacent to Foster Park, the course heads down Goulds Road and turns right on to Arbor Green Boulevard. 

Follow Arbor Green Boulevard and turn left on to Westmoor Boulevard and left on to Goulds Road back towards Foster Park. 

At Dynes Road, turn right to join the Foster Park running trail. You will follow the trail through Foster Park and back towards the start/finish line!Please note: the Westmoor Boulevard section is currently not open to the public, as it forms part of Arbor Green’s ongoing development. It will be ready and fully accessible for race day.
